Every time I think of my business, what I do and who I do it with, I have to pinch myself just to make sure it’s real.

You see,

I don’t remember much of my childhood, but I do remember growing up wanting to be a Math teacher (I guess I needed the “comfort” of numbers: knowing what’s true and what isn’t, what’s right and what isn’t, what makes sense and what doesn’t), a flight attendant and, at one point, even a ballerina (a dream that was quickly shattered when I hit my first growth spurt).

What I never considered becoming was:

  • An energy healer
  • A medical Intuitive
  • An Akashic Record practitioner
  • A Mindset Coach
  • An Entrepreneur

Basically, all the things God/the Universe/Source/Creator/Infinite Intelligence knew I was meant to become, all the things I was here to be.

Just goes to show you that you never know what life has in store for you.

How did I get started on this path?

In 2008, Life definitely had some major plans for me, plans that were so far away from my awareness that I needed something HUGE to make me stop and take notice.

After almost 3 years of major life changes that ended with my sister’s sudden death in a manner worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster, I found myself battling depression.

And when one day I found myself actually praying to get sick so I’d have a legitimate reason to avoid a family gathering, I knew I had to find my way out of that dark tunnel.

But I didn’t know what that way was.

I only knew what it wasn’t. Over the years, I witnessed my mother go through a few depressions in her life.

I saw what all the meds had done to her and I didn’t want to jump on that same bandwagon of doctors and pills. Yet I didn’t know what else was there.

As far back as I can remember, I never liked meds. I even had 2 children without anesthesia just because I wanted to see if I could do it (don’t even ask!).

I’m sharing this not as a judgment of traditional medicine, or meds or people who choose to take meds.

I’m sharing this to give you an idea of who and how I was and who I needed to be to find my way to this Woo world I live, work and play in today.

I stumbled onto Reiki and it changed my life.
It also saved my sanity.

I became hooked. I wanted to learn everything I could about all this “stuff”.
And I did.  

It was the perfect example of…

When you surrender and allow, things have a way of falling into place

As I studied, doors opened, opportunities showed up, mentors were put in my path.

I started discovering my gifts (still am).

I started discovering my Self (years and decades of people-pleasing had buried her under soooooooo many layers of shit).

I started discovering my purpose with all its nuances.

The rest as they say is history.

Today, I couldn’t be happier with where I am, what I do and most importantly who I am.

Other than my work, here's what else lights me up:

In my spare time, you can find me

  • curled up with a good book – steamy, toe-curling romance novel, soul-stirring biographies, mind-stimulating personal growth. Bonus points if it’s raining outside and chocolate and wine are involved
  • getting caught up with Hallmark movies (especially the Holiday kind)
  • pampering myself at a spa somewhere
  • the beach (or any body of water), traveling, nature, belly dancing, and did I mention chocolate?
